Today was another long one.
We started with a breakfast with Sabrina and Joe followed by another intense lesson.
This time there was more focus on the character as well as one on one attention to their scripts.
For lunch, Ben and I went and bought some sweeeeet suits for tomorrow night.
Totally Shrek-ifying my suit tomorrow night for Opening Night.
Shrek 4 in 3D. Best part is.... my mom, dad, aunt, uncle, and cousin are all coming up for it!!!!
Excellent.
After a screening of The Painted Veil.... writer Ron Nyswaner talked to our students and gave them incredible advice (that I was glad to learn too) about rewriting, adaptation, and more......
we headed to the NY Filmmaker Party at Bowery Hotel.
After less than an hour, we rolled on to check out something I thought I saw on the way over.
I was right....
Shepard Fairey and his minions putting up a giant piece off Bowery (by the Whole Foods).It was pretty impressive in size and time efficiency but I'm not sure Obey is really doing it for me. I have gone through different stages of like then dislike then despise then neutral and so on and so forth.
Either way.... I think Ben, Rezwan, and Tusilya enjoyed it. I'd say that's a pretty unique/authentic NY experience.
