Is this real life?

Off the map, the edge of the Earth, m.i.a......
All of these terms can describe where I have been.
Crazy had ensued, projects got made, lectures were given, films were played, and now.... the dust is settling.
So maybe a "catch up" is a must.

On March 30th, I gave a talk and work in progress screening of Zabaleen at the THIMUN (The Hague International Model United Nations) to a large group of budding human rights activists and filmmakers. It went really well and was a great confidence booster and trial run before shipping off to the states to do the same at Harvard University's Peabody Museum.

On the 31st, I hoped on the silver horse again and hit the skies. 12 hours later, I was in New York. I grabbed my rental car and hit the hotel in Chelsea to change my clothes, brush my teeth and hit the streets. I met the peeps, hit a Swear and Shake show at 92Y Tribeca, then a cigar bar (even though I absolutely despise cigars and cigar smokers), and then spent about 3 hours laughing our asses off listening to Brit spill the beans about all kinds of trauma. It was a heavily medicated therapy session for sure haha
On the 1st, I hit the road home and spent some good quality time with my fam before meeting Brit, Markle and CP for a rawkus night out in Philly. What started with burritos and beers, ended in Japanese rock and roll and whiskey soaked shoes. Guitar Wolf was just as I had always hoped. Insane, totally messy and Japanese as hell. Leather and shades everywhere.

The next few days were spent at home licking wounds and antiquing with my mom. I got some massively amazing treasures. Including, but not limited to these sweet thangs:

Once the antique dust settled, I scooped up CV and we headed for Boston.
We arrived late at night but still managed to get our stroll on, see a bit of the campus, and hit up some tex-mex.
The next day our friends and families arrived for our talk/screening at Harvard.
It went incredibly well and we met loads of great new contacts.
The audio from the talk is online here for streaming and downloading.

The next day, CP and I hit the road back to NY. In a few hours, we were at the airport and I was flying back to Doha.
I hit the ground running and spent 23.5 hours a day awake, aware, and on the grind.
Now that that's finished, I head out to Dubai tomorrow to do my PUMA design, spend a few days there, and then its off again to Greece for some island hopping and much needed relaxation.
I'll be back in Doha around my birthday and hopefully, not long after, will be back in the air heading somewhere. Where? Who knows.
