A whirlwind of a weekend for sure.
I flew out on Wednesday and landed in Dubai just in time to unpack and spend hours on the computer searching and surfing endlessly for nothing.
4am came and I had to call it quits.
The next day we met with all the other Puma ambassadors for a lunch and the organizers hooked us up with a brief.
After lunch, I finalized my design and packed my fabric up to head to Mojo Gallery for the "factory".
When I arrived, I realized that I wasn't going to be able to airbrush the design on the back (unless I wanted the jacket to look like it came from a Jersey Shore boardwalk).
So that was out of the equation.
I pulled out another design that I wanted to do using triangles of majilis material geometrically connected, creating a larger triangle on the front of the jacket.
Didn't work.
So I did what any "quick on their feet" dude would do...
Drew something new and went all black errrrything.
The tailors took my elements and mountain of fabric and in 2 weeks or so, my jacket will be in my hands. Fingers crossed it's as awesome as I think it will be.
Lauren landed and we hit the Puma after party.
Good times with good peeps like Simone, Hind, Khalid, Carla, and all the other ambassadors.
The next day we hit the SoleDXB event for some graf, bboys, skateboarding and sneaker gazing.
Before we knew it, the night was ending by the hotel pool watching some hilarious dancing, an uninterested dj and some cold fish sticks.
Saturday we got up, hit the pool, got a nice base coat lobster red burn and headed to the airport.
It's Sunday now... Stevie's birthday and there is a scheduled exodus of clay pigeons for tonight.
In the morning, its back into the sky.
Next stop... ATHENS.
