If you dont have a badge by now, well chances are, you either dont need one or you just simply dont deserve one haha.
At 4pm I rolled out with 2 of my new film friends to see a sneak peek of "Where the Wild Things Are" in IMAX at the newly constructed cinema in Villagio.
WOW! The film was incredible. Steve and I left with trails of tears on our faces. (Only real men cry during children's movies hahaha)
Really made me miss my family and at the same time made me want to never leave Doha. Contradictions are obviously my super power haha.Met with Jamie, Tarek, and Victoria by chance and shared the world's most insane cab driver (who kept repeating our english, making cat noises, honking his horn, and yelling OBAMA! AMERICA!) back to West Bay.
After somehow arriving safely back at the Four Seasons, I met Lauren for an amazing dinner of swordfish, chicken, wine, and beer on the beach and caught the tail end of "Monsoon Wedding" on the enormous open air screen.
We were joined by Ma and Pa McCarthy, sat in Carrie's lovely beach chairs and watched "Namesake". The weather was BEAUTIFUL and we even saw a shooting star (when I talked to Manuel he said we were "a bunch of hippies" haha)
The evening was absolutely perfect and ended in me falling asleep upside down in my bed with my jeans on. hahaha
Perfect. Really.
Now, we pack up shop and get ready for Closing Night.
Word on the streets is The Blue Badge Blues Band will be taking the stage!!!
