you will get hit with loads of entertainment. Fights, vomiting, drunks, streakers, and the occasional tazer.
I have been a Phillies fan my entire life and I must say, I was never like any of these people. Sure I did the occasional weird thing like cheer for players who aren't even on the team anymore (ie: RRRRRIIIICCCCCCOOOOOO!!!! *thanks to Justin Freund), but I never fought anyone or puked on any children or streaked across the field. But I can't say that I haven't a) seen this stuff happen or b) thought about doing something really stupid. But that's as far as it went.... thoughts.
Recently, my good friend (and fellow Elwood Gentry founder) Matt Kirk, sent me 2 rather strange articles/incidents involving Phillies fans.
The first was the story of Matthew Clemens.
This piece of vile human decided that after being ejected from the game for being an asshole, he was going to intentionally vomit on a 11 year old girl (who was also a Phillies fan.... so the reasoning there is completely out of whack).The story blew up, instantly giving Phillies fans a bad name. It appeared on every news channel and every sports print material.

It's people like this that shouldn't be allowed to:1- Wear Phillies colors
2- Enter any game
3- Live
This kid makes me sick.
The second article (which is far less disturbing and actually quite funny) was the story of a 17 year old Phillies fan who just couldn't help himself from running on to the field during a Phillies home game.
I have thought about doing this many times. Why? I dont know.
Maybe because the idea of 50,000 people watching you run around on the field with the players is just too funny to pass up.
It used to be that when you ran on the field, the cops would run after you and eventually catch you and arrest you or the rare occasion when a player takes matters into their own hands and clubs you themselves (which is way funnier than any other method).
BUT.... the times they are a-changin.
With new technology, these cops dont have to run as fast or as long....
they can just taze you.
And as this kid learned the hard way, you WILL go down.... and you will go down hard.Watch this video shot by another fan:

Now not all Phillies fans are totally retarded like these other 2.
Some are just good ol' fashioned idiots and drunks.
