VICE X W HOTELS X INTEL X TAREK AND I

In my last post (over 2 months ago), I eluded to a shoot that I had just wrapped for VICE. I couldn't share any details... because... well... that's how it goes.
BUT...
Now that the films are live online.
Let's talk away.

Vice partnered with W Hotels and Intel and Roman Coppola and a thousand other people to do a project called "Four Stories". Through a scriptwriting competition, they found the best 4 scripts to shoot in various W Hotel locations around the world.
One being Doha.
That's where Tarek and I come in.

We were super lucky to be the official on set documentarians of MODERN/LOVE.
The film was directed by the super talented, uber cool Lee Toland Krieger (director of The Vicious Kind and Celeste and Jesse Forever) and starred Robert Schwartzman (of Rooney fame and/or brother of Jason Schwartzman and/or cousin of Sophia Coppola etc etc) and the beautiful, next big star, Naomi Scott.

Here is the film. Trust me... it's really worth the 9+ minutes to see how beautiful they made Doha look on screen.

And here is the "Making Of"

This was all shot by Tarek Esber and I (with the exception of Lee and the producer interviews which were shot in LA by someone else).
*If you watch closely, you'll see a cameo by me as well

Very pleased with the outcome and honored by the experience to work with such a talented cast and crew. Hoping this is the first of many collaborations with VICE.
