In an attempt to do justice and expand the #5Things on Thursday franchise that is building over at Tarek Speaks Clever.... I've been summoned to pick 5 things that I feel worthy of sharing.
I think finding 5 shouldn't be a problem.
1. Frank Ocean on some real talk
Frank Ocean is without a doubt one of (if not THE) most promising singers to take over the reigns and try to steer R&B back on track. The likes of Chris Brown have disgraced the genre for long enough.
In a move that left some people scratching their heads, other talking shit, and more rallying behind his truth and honesty.... Frank came "clean" about his heart in an open letter to the world.
His street cred might take a little hit and his female fan base may be devastated but my respect for him has grown tenfold.
Do you, Frank. Do you.

2. How To Dress Well
While we are on the topic of R&B... another dude that is doing it big is Chicago's How To Dress Well. With his lo-fi vinyl sound and incredible pipes... this dude pumps out pure gold every time a track drops. Download a track from his soon to be released album and a 40+ minute mixtape HERE

If you are in Oregon in September... get yourself a Chief Joseph blanket and a nice Stetson. The Pendleton Round Up is a MUST. Although I have never been there myself, one day I will.
5. Planning Trips I May Never Take
Whether its a tree house in Costa Rica, the alien planet of Socotra, or the Yucatan beauty of Tulum....
