7 days ago, we started a campaign on the crowd-funding website Kickstarter.
The objective of Kickstarter is to link up like minded people who have a passion for art. Artists, musicians, filmmakers, or just fans of culture come on that site and post their projects that are in need of support.
Our film for example, needs $15,000 to complete post production.
So we started a 40 day campaign in an attempt to raise the funds we need.
We are 7 days in now and thanks to the extremely generous and amazing donations from people, we are already at 30% of our goal raising over $4500!!!
We can not thank these people enough.
BUT.... the thing with Kickstarter is.....
If you reach your goal in the alotted amount of time.... you get the money that was donated.
If you DONT.... you get nothing. All donations are immediately returned to the contributor.
So we really still need a lot of help.
Because of this we are asking each and every person we know to help us spread the word about the campaign and the film.
