The ride was about 2.5 hours and got us into Manchester around 2pm.
We arrived at the station with no direction what so ever, so we jumped in a cab and headed for The Thistle.
Again, our hotel was within one block of the club. Perfect.
We met with a friend who showed us around the area. We located all the good record shops, vintage clothes, book stores, dvd joints, and everything we could possibly waste our money on.
What commenced was a day of hardcore shopping.
About 2 hours before the show started, we found ourselves wandering the alleyways behind The Roadhouse. As we stood next to the bright red dumpsters, Zach and John from PTM approached.
Dudes are mega friendly and stood and had a chat with us for about an hour.
We skated off to go have some burritos and when we returned, we ran into John again.
We chatted again and then headed into the show.
Zach got me up by the dressing room so I could get the best shots possible and the band killed it. They were incredible again. Maybe better than the night before actually.

We hung around a bit after the show and shot the shit with John.
He made it very clear to me that "It's all about the fog and lazers".
We wished them luck on the rest of the European tour and headed out.
That night I passed out mega early and woke up feeling nice and fresh.
The next day was simple.... shop until I need another suitcase.
Which didnt take long.
I came back with loads of treasures. Clothes, music, books, and almost 50 dvds.
Good stuff.
The next morning we got up at 6am, packed, did one more stroll, and we were on our way to the airport. The exhaustion caught up with me and I slept for nearly the entire flight home.
With my feet firmly planted back on the sand....
I am ready for another adventure.
What's next?
