London - Rogue Style Day 2

Wake up with a swelling balloon for a head. Shake out the cobwebs. Stay under the covers in the dark, unfamiliar room listening to a light rain fall on the glass.
Noon.
Understand the cycle. Live in depression because weather and lack of money, drink it off, wake up with less money and worse weather. This is a losing game.
Walk through park to Bistro Laz for a full fry up. Struggle through it. Thought I was having a heart attack from the paracetamol. Cram the bacon, egg, and sausage done. Need fresh air.
The man the Beatles wrote Paperback Writer about is sitting next to us. He is dining with a young girl with amazing bright blue mens dress shoes on.
Hope on a bus back to Victoria.
Brown VW bus parked outside of a house where Dylan Thomas once lived.
Finally off the bus at Victoria, hustle to the train back to Crawley.
This journey seems neverending. Need a shower.
Need some water. Need to not feel sick every time I smell something.
Finally back in Crawley. As if that is a blessing.
Almost got jacked by a pikey.
The rain is still falling and Crawley looks especially morose. Statues of crows line the square.
Found a shop that sells Jesus statues and bongs. Wonder about the connection.
Looking forward to a shower and tonights "Meet and Greet" with Werner Herzog.
Walked past the greatest house in the town.
Got back to the hotel, cleaned, nervous and ready.
We headed downstairs to find a line of people waiting to get their credentials.
Herzog walked right up behind us and smiled.
We all mingled in the bar. Met some fascinating people from all over the globe.
A Brazilian who is shooting in the Amazon, a Scottish dude making a film about a kid who lost the use of his muscles, a Polish scientist.... loads of cool people.
Herzog spoke and introduced the next 4 days. Our eyes are as wide as babies.
We went back to mingling and Herzog took the time to meet each one of us.
We had a quick chat about Doha and then talked briefly about Zabaleen. His genuine interest in me and my project was super humbling.
What an incredible experience.
Tomorrow at 830am we start the odyssey into the world of Werner.
What a strange and interesting world it will be.
