CAIRO TOMORROW!!!!!

Plenty in the news today...
let's set the clock back to last night and start from there, shall we?

BEAUTIFUL night in the garden eating pizza and chatting by the fire. Was a great little "Last Hoorah" to send Manuel out into the great unknown, alone.
It was partially sad at the end of the night when we all went home knowing that was the last time we would all be there as a "unit".
(At least this year)

Woke up at 530am to say my farewells to the Little Buddy.
He's probably somewhere in Lebanon scouting Wax Station locations right now.
Aya better be taking care of him.

10am.... had a great meeting with Amanda at the Market.
Lovely conversation about my work, ambitions, goals etc.
I left with the feeling that I may find myself back here in Doha sooner than I thought.
(Which I am TOTALLY down with)

12pm... got even more great news regarding our trip to Cairo and "interested parties".
Can't say much at this point other than Lauren is in a meeting right now which could potentially bring the most exciting news ever.

1pm.... arrived at Dale's house in the Jag (yeah... I had to say it. How often can you say you are driven around in the back of a Jaguar like some kind of celebrity?!?!)
Went to the pool and dove in forgetting my cell phone was in my back pocket. Needless to say, that bad boy doesn't work anymore.

4pm (now).... just relaxin and getting ready to grub on some pasta.
In 2 hours we will be in Khalifa Stadium
watching Brazil and England play each other as a part of the Qatar2022 bid for the World Cup.

Fuck... I'll be 39 in 2022!!!! Wow. What a strange feeling that brought on.

All in all.... shaping up to be a really memorable day.
