What I know for sure, there's no where else I'd rather be. All of these moments are amazing and have really breathed life back into me.
The DTFF crowd has really thinned out and we are just a bare bones crew now. Maybe 20 of us tops. Going to be sad to see my little buddy Manuel off on the 13th but excited to hear about his adventures (and misadventures) trekking through Beirut, Istanbul, and London.
Also looking forward to getting a job at one of his Chin Waxing Salon Franchises that he sets up while out in world. hahahahaha
Actually on second thought, I think I prefer unemployment.
Sorry buddy.... hope you understand.
We are working diligently at preparing for our trip to Cairo.
Last night we really got shit done. Enough research to put a scientist to shame.
Well maybe not a scientist.... maybe a first year biology student.
Today, we got some Hep A shots at the clinic and some warnings about what our bowels are going to do when we are in Egypt. Fantastic.
The next 6 days are shaping up to be as memorable as the last 3 months have been.
Some stand-up comedy, a beach house getaway with jet-skis, Brazil vs England soccer game, and one last hair cut (as if that is going to be the most memorable.... just thought I'd add it because I already put a comma and "and" there so I had to add one more thing.... don't hate).
I leave you for now with a photo that epitomizes... well.... nothing really.
But good for a laugh and/or confusion.
Enjoy.
