Too Many Topics To Choose Just One

Topic 1:
So let's start with the least relevant to my stay in Doha: a video that Dale sent me.
This is some of the most prophetic psycho babble I have ever heard about the "most important word in the English language".

At first glance, I thought made this dude was a member of the Jedi Council. Then once he started to talk I realized he is far superior to a Jedi.
At times his points are mind blowing. At other times, he reminds a bit of this guy George (R.I.P.) that used to live in a tool shed down by the creek at my friend Russell Rambo's house. He somehow managed to stay drunk 24 hours a day. Yet sometimes you would show up at Russ's house and George would be on the roof of the house hanging shingles or down by the fire chopping would. He looked like your average homeless man but behind his tattered garb and rotten skin, there was a man who at one time had a "real" life. A family, children, a home.
Sometimes he would talk and you'd be captivated by the lessons he could teach and then other times he would say things like "If a dog had teeth his balls could bite you" before falling face down in the mud and passing out.
I miss that kind of sentiment.

Topic 2:
Last night was the second installment of the Doha Tribeca Film Festival One Minute Films. The screenings were held at the W in the Crystal Lounge and the Ramadan Tent.
After a bout with a serious stomach bug, I rallied the Gut Troops, strapped on a bow tie, and headed down to join the fun.
Somehow I screwed it up.
There were 2 screenings: One public, one private.
I somehow thought that Public screening was the later of the two.
Turns out that was wrong.
I walked into the end of the Public (which I thought was the private) one at 930pm expecting to just wait it out until the other one started.
Well... I was wrong. But it all ended up working out.
I stood in one the private one and got to see the films.
This one was my favorite.

Topic 3:
Also last night was a Suhoor dinner held at the Museum of Islamic Art. I really wanted to go but my stomach was just not feeling up to the task of handling hundreds of different kinds of foods. So I "settled" (although was equally great) for some room service and some chin wagging.
Manuel DID go and took a few photos to feed the blog monster:
