These boots are (NOT) made for walking

The last two days have been rather uneventful.
Yesterday I woke up late for work. Like 5 minutes before the shuttle left. So I rushed to get ready and thought we'd just use the hotel drivers to take us to the office. BUT Manuel had other plans in mind.
"We can walk it! It's not far at all. I know a short cut. Blah blah blahamos"
So, as usual, I believed it him. The kid drives a hard bargain. What can I say?
5 minutes into the walk, I knew we had made a mistake.
The 2 days prior were Doha record highs. The temperature topped out at 50 degrees celsius which translates to 122 Farenheit!!!!!
So needless to say... It isn't quite ideal walking conditions.
But Manuel insisted we forge on.
I had to take my shirt off and wrap it around my head to stop the sweat from streaming down my face and into my eyes.
*Looks like someone needs to shave their "neard" huh?

The walk took over 30 minutes and I probably lost about 2/3 of the liquids my body held.
So I did the only there was to do....
pound a nice fresh Banana.com Cooler.....which is the GREATEST drink I have had in my life. It is bananas, pineapples, coconuts and fresh cream. Holy father of the banana world!!!! Unreal. Now I am addicted. (also led me to find this guy online... my new idol....look at that jumper!!! how bad do I want that?!?!?!)
Plus the Filipino juice bar workers loved my banana tattoo so they give me a free one every time I buy one. I knew one day these tattoos would pay off.

Today I played "pirate" (which goes against everything I stand for at this point) and "added" about 650 new songs to my iTunes library. I justify this to myself 2 ways:
1- They don't sell rock records in Doha
2- The worthwhile ones I will purchase for real for real when I get back to the states.

Still have about 30 albums that I have to listen to. So that will keep my ears busy for the next week or so.
Tomorrow is a day packed with meetings. Sweeeeeeet.
