Slackin on the blog tip

It's been 4 days since I posted the video of the Arab Patch Kid goin the damn thing.
I realize that I have been slackin. Plus I get reminders from people who are SWEATIN my blog. (Jacobsssssss!!! hahaha).
But in my defense.... I have actually been doing work. I know, crazy right?!?!
Dealing with vendors from Doha is quite the daunting task. When I am in the office, they are asleep. When I am at home, well, who wants to work from home??
But I have been making a lot of progress lately. I am within days (maybe a week) of locking down the company that will be printing our credentials.
Here is a quick "mock up" of what I am sorta thinking they will look like:
*This is a real quick mock up so keep the criticism to a minimum please (I have no idea why the inside of some of the letters are a different shade of black)
**And NO, I am not really making a documentary about Scandar.... although it would be quite entertaining (PS - "Ajami" was bought by KINO so everyone will get a chance to see it soon enough. Congrats Swinedar!!!! Now let me shoot your next film. K? Thanks.)

We did find a company that prints holographic badges that can contain up to 30 SECONDS OF VIDEO IN THE IMAGE!!!! What?!?!?!?!
Crazy shit. But I mean, this is Doha. Everything is over the top so why not make the badges that way too?!
Imagine a badge that has a video of Manuel ice skating and rapping while I make it rain riyals from the third floor of the City Center!!! Amazing... I know.

Which brings me to my next bit of news....
WE GOT PAID FINALLY!!!! (at least 3 weeks of per diem)
It felt so good to go into the bank and walk about with a grip of cash.
So we did like any American baller would do... shopped.
Got some new threads, some amazing cologne (that smells like an angel farted on me hahaha) and a few surprises. How mysterious.
Mack-Millie treated us to some fresh banana and avocado juice and we posted up for all the honeys. hahahahahaahah

Tonight is "Team Bowling Night".
We are going to unleash the fury of the heavy balls on fools tonight (???? hahaha)
Or at least Manuel will. I'll be in the bumper lane with the other children and mongoloids.

I promise to have more exciting posts for you all after the weekend.
Maybe track a camel down and ride it into the sunset?
Maybe buy a falcon and unleash it in Manuel's room?
You never know what is in store for you out here in the desert.
But what I do know for sure.....
This weekend is going to be classic.
Boy scout's honor.
