Safe and Sound in the Sand

It is currently around 11pm here in Doha (4pm NY time). Our flight landed a few hours ago.
Customs was a breeze and we were quickly shuffled around to find a few Phillipino drivers holding our names up and waving with excitement. (We were obviously the Americans)
They grabbed our bags and took us out to our cars. A 2010 Jag and a Beamer!!!!
I think this set the pace for us. Once they dropped us off at the W Hotel, we were shown to our apartment. BANANAS!
Here are a few photos of our place.

3 Giant bathrooms......

...... 2 Huge bedrooms......

.....Living room overlooking downtown.....

....And the sickest kitchen I have EVER seen

Interesting facts:
-Doha is the most expensive under construction ghost town in the WORLD.
-Kleenex are used as napkins
-The sun goes down before 7pm (and will be down by 4pm in the months to come
-Qatarians LOVE KFC

We start work at the Museum around 7am.
Time for a little of the Phillies game online and then some much needed sleep.

Love from the Middle East.
